440C Stainless Steel Plate Description
The high carbon content of 440C stainless steel makes it have good cutting and wear resistance. Through heat treatment and quenching, hardness of HRC 58-60 can be achieved, giving it excellent cutting ability and wear resistance. In addition, 440C has a high chromium content and excellent corrosion resistance in most acidic and alkaline environments.
